Ewing Minor Wins 2026 Bassmaster Kayak Championship at Lake Murray
Ewing Minor won the 2026 Newport Bassmaster Kayak Series Championship at Lake Murray, South Carolina, on 17 October, securing both the championship and the Pro-Guide Batteries Angler of the Year award.
Minor’s three-day total of 292.75 inches put him ahead of runner-up Wyatt Hammond. His final-day total of 99.5 inches helped him take the lead and earn the $20,000 first-place prize.
The Lake Murray event was the first standalone Bassmaster Kayak Series Championship, giving competitors a dedicated national title event.
