AC Milan and Inter Unveil Generali Stadium Plans for New Shared Home
AC Milan and Inter Milan unveiled plans for their future shared Generali Stadium on 29 October 2026, marking a significant milestone in the redevelopment of the San Siro district.
The two clubs completed their acquisition of the San Siro stadium site and surrounding land in November 2025. Their new stadium is intended to replace the existing venue, rather than simply renovate it.
The clubs say construction is expected to begin in 2028, with the first match targeted for the 2031/32 season, subject to the necessary approvals. The planned development includes facilities for sport, entertainment and community activities.
