Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad: Racing Bulls’ 2026 Driver Partnership

Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad are teammates at Racing Bulls in the 2026 Formula 1 season. The pairing was officially confirmed in December 2025, with Lindblad earning his Formula 1 debut and Lawson retaining his seat.

Lawson also temporarily returned to the senior Red Bull team in September 2026 as a substitute for the injured Isack Hadjar. Formula 1’s official analysis noted that he then returned to Racing Bulls for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Lindblad, a Red Bull junior programme graduate, joined the grid after racing in Formula 2 and impressing during Formula 1 practice opportunities. Any suggestion of a new permanent Red Bull promotion remains speculation unless the teams announce a change.
