UK Fishing Booking Platform swimbooker Secures Six-Figure Growth Investment

UK fishing booking platform swimbooker has secured a six-figure growth investment from Stuart Hennell, the co-founder and former chief executive of Watchfinder, according to the Angling Trust’s announcement on 7 October 2026.

Hennell will also advise the founding team. The funding is intended to support a national television campaign and further develop swimbooker’s online booking services.

The Angling Trust says the platform connects more than 140,000 registered anglers with over 300 UK fishing venues. It also provides booking technology for the Trust’s Event Marketplace, helping users find lessons, coaching and fishing opportunities.
