Will Lankshear’s Middlesbrough Form Draws Harry Kane Comparisons

Will Lankshear’s scoring form at Middlesbrough has prompted comparisons with Harry Kane, according to a BBC Sport report published on 12 October.

The 21-year-old striker joined Middlesbrough permanently from Tottenham during the summer on a five-year contract. The deal could reach £20 million with add-ons; he is not on loan.

His winner against Wolves brought his total to nine goals in 12 matches for Boro. Former Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson highlighted similarities in his physique and career development with Kane.

Tottenham retain matching rights on an accepted future bid and a share of resale profit, rather than an automatic fixed-price buy-back.
