Kaden Buchmann Takes Major Step Toward Bassmaster Elite Series

American angler Kaden Buchmann, 22, took a significant step toward qualifying for the Bassmaster Elite Series after winning the first 2026 Nitro Boats Bassmaster Elite Qualifier at Arkansas’ Norfork Lake.

Buchmann led all three days of the event and finished with a combined catch weighing 42 pounds, 7 ounces. He earned $71,317.07 in prize money.

His place in the 2027 Elite Series remains conditional on finishing among the top ten in the qualifier points standings after the final event at Lake Guntersville in November.
