Hamilton Apologises to Ferrari After Singapore Strategy Error
Lewis Hamilton apologised to Ferrari after finishing sixth at the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix, BBC Sport reported on 11 October.
Hamilton missed the pit entry when the team called him in during a virtual safety car. He then stayed out to protect his track position, but worsening tyre wear cost him three places in the closing laps. He accepted responsibility for his decisions.
Max Verstappen won ahead of Charles Leclerc and Kimi Antonelli. Antonelli extended his championship advantage over Mercedes team-mate George Russell to 102 points, putting a potential title-clinching opportunity at the United States Grand Prix within reach.
