Oklahoma Seasonal Trout Fishing Opens at Selected Waters in November
Oklahoma’s seasonal trout fisheries open at designated waters in November, offering anglers opportunities during cooler months.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, seasonal dates vary by location. Blue River and Lake Carl Blackwell Turtle Pond operate from 1 November through 31 March, while Robbers Cave and Medicine Creek have seasons extending from 1 November through 15 March.
Anglers should check the department’s current stocking notices, licence requirements and location-specific rules before fishing. Stocking schedules can change.
