Liverpool Look to Respond Against Brentford After Manchester City Defeat

Liverpool travel to Brentford on Saturday 17 October seeking a response after their 3–0 home defeat to Manchester City in the previous Premier League round.

Brentford held Aston Villa to a 2–2 draw in Matchweek 6 and will look to make life difficult for the visitors. The Premier League’s official Matchweek 7 analysis identifies Liverpool’s attempt to regain momentum as a key storyline.

The fixture gives Liverpool an immediate chance to reset after a disappointing result at Anfield.
