Haas Confirms Rafael Câmara for 2027 Formula 1 Season

TGR Haas F1 Team has confirmed that Brazilian driver Rafael Câmara will join its Formula 1 race lineup in 2027 on a multi-year contract.

The 21-year-old Ferrari Driver Academy member won the 2025 Formula 3 championship and is leading the 2026 Formula 2 standings with two rounds remaining. Haas says Câmara impressed during a test of a previous-generation car.

Team principal Ayao Komatsu said Haas aims to provide an environment where Câmara can develop as he makes the step up to Formula 1. The announcement confirms a new Brazilian presence alongside Gabriel Bortoleto on the 2027 grid.
